Goodbye Tiger!

Thanks to all the friends that leave some comfort words in my previous post.

It's been a week since we last seen Tiger. We miss him a lot. It's a really hard decision for us to do so. We can no longer handle him. He changed a lot. He's now like to bark at us and even bite us. He's so wild at times. Don't be fool by his "angel" face, his attitude is just the opposite, like a "devil". Since a month ago, he ignored the wee wee pad train that hubby taught him since young. He started to pee everywhere in our house. He is marking his territory.

We considered the new owner is qualified to keep him since she has a 6 year old female chihuahua at home. Unlike Tiger, her female chihuahua is very well behave. We hope that the old female chihuahua will train Tiger as her own puppy. The lady takes care of it since 2 years ago when it was abandoned by a breeder. So, that added points to the lady as a good candidate to keep Tiger. She's kind, and she's a dog lover.

We packed all his belongings last Friday night and delivered him to Ipoh early morning on last Saturday. He didn't refuse to be carried by the lady. He was well behaved. The lady kissed him and praise him cute some more, fainted! She took a couples of photos of Tiger, which she's going to upload to her blog. We told the lady he's very naughty. Deep inside us, we were worried about the war that is nearly to begin......

I can't control my tears. I'm so sad to let him go. Felt so sorry to him. Anyway, I wish it's another good beginning for his life. He still has long way to go. Tiger, be a good boy, ok?

Marapana Wildlife World

We had lots of fun in Marapana Wildlife World.

Unlike normal zoo/safari, the wildlife world is a place for people to get in "touch" with beautiful Australian animals. It cost A$16 per person, and you get a bucket of dry food to feed these creatures.

I love those animals...and we got a chance to stay really up close to them . I enjoyed feeding them and touching them. :)

Notice the last photo? It's me!! :P

Beverly Hills Chihuahua

These days we are crazy over the high definition Blue-ray converted DVDs. We use the PS3 to play DVD instead of playing games, LOL.

Just last Sunday night, we watched the Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Chloe is a Beverly Hill Chihuahua who owned by Vivian. Chloe get a life which lots of ladies are desperate for. Vivian pampers her so much. She is brought to shop for latest fashion. She is put on nice clothes, booties and gorgeous jewelry. At home, she enjoys her time for swimming and sun bathing. She owns her own private garden, swimming pool and sun bathing bench. Oh, what a wonderful life she has.

One day, Vivian has to go on a business trip and Chloe was taken care by her niece, Rachel. The exciting part begins when Rachel brought Chloe to Mexico. Poor Chloe was kidnapped and put into a dog fight with a Doberman dog, named El Diablo. She was fortunate to be saved by a German Shepperd, Delgado. Both of them went though a hard journey to find a way home to Beverly Hills. They met a group of Chihuahuas. There's where Chloe learns how to bark and the Chihuahua's slogan "Tiny but Mighty".

Not to forget about Papi, a gardener Chihuahua who plays an important role to save Chloe. They fall in love eventually, hehe......

"Tiny but Mighty", don't let my Tiger Chihuahua hears about it. I would prefer he stays as what he is right now, "Tiny and Timid". :)

The Kitten Meows

Some updates on the previous naughty cat. It is totally out of my expectation. The black & white cat has become our neighboour's pet. They pamper it so much. Good for it, and good for me, cuz no more "wee wee" smell. Yippy! Her master, the little girl who stays behind us gave the cat a red collar, and bathe it on weekly basis. She carries the cat like a baby. It is now a really big cat.

Aih.......who knows here comes another kitten. It stays on our roof, and it meows quite often. Look at the photo, it stares at me when I was taking its photo. Its mother, the big fat white cat is the mother to the naughty cat also. It brings food to this kitten and accompany it most of the time. The mother cat is too fertile, keep on producing kittens.

Ah......too many stray cats at our housing area. One of the reason could be that our area is quite near the seaside so they get enough fresh fish supply from the nearby fishermen. :(

Friend Or Enemy?

If you follow my blog, you'd know that my nephew adopted a pet puppy on Christmas eve named Rocky. Rocky is a big boned pup, owing to the fact that he is a half rottweiler. My Tiger Chihuahua will always try to avoid contact with Rocky whenever we went to my parent's house. During Chinese New Year, we brought Tiger to visit my parent's place again and this time, my nephew decided to put Tiger and Rocky together and see what happens.

Rocky was delighted when he saw Tiger and tried to come near and play with him but Tiger on the other hand, not so keen with a larger breed pup and tried to stay away. :P Whenever Rocky came too close Tiger would make his growling sound and tried to push Rocky away. Then he stood up and put his paw on Rocky face and scratch him! Poor Rocky never been bullied this way before quickly ran away....@-@

Well, luckily Rocky is still very young and didn't know how to fight back, if not, my little Tiger would become his lunch.

Our 2009 New Year Eve

After enjoying our seafood dinner last night, we decided to go to my parents place. We brought Tiger along to play with Rocky. :)

You guess what? Tiger's heart "peek pok peek pok" till like going to jump out. He smelled Rocky even before we entered to house. He immediately ran into the house without taking a look at Rocky. While Rocky was there playing happily after having his milk. Rocky is now very chubby, and his coat colour is getting dark in color. He is growing pretty fast, now is very heavy. His bone is absolutely big! @~@

When we put Tiger and Rocky together, Tiger will always find his way to escape. While, Rocky would wag his tail and find his way to smell and lick Tiger. He's like very happy to meet his new friend. :) Ha, our timid little Tiger made his fierce little sound "Grrrr............" everytime Rocky approached him. Well, eventually Tiger acted quite brave to smell and lick Rocky in return. :D Rocky cries each time he sees Tiger hopping into the house. I think Rocky must be wondering why Tiger is allowed to go into the house, while he is only allowed to stay outside the house.

Now Tiger gets familiar with my family members. He likes my parents, my nephews and my nieces. He run freely to every corner of the house.

He is taking his nap now, see.....wakakaka......

New Pet Adopted on Christmas Eve

On X'mas eve, my nephew called me up and asked if I still keep the milk bottle of Tiger. He said he just adopted a one month plus puppy. *Wink wink :) I love dogs, so I started to be a "busy body". Thinking of bringing my Tiger over there to meet the new puppy.

Immediately, I packed the things, grabbed my camera and went over to my brother's shop with hubby. I wanted to meet the puppy as soon as possible, as I can't stop imagine how's the puppy looked like. Hehe......I love puppies!

See, there it was there lying lazily on the table. It just finished licking some fresh milk, and looked so sleepy. Aha, like Tiger, it's a male dog. It's a mixed breed of Rottweiler and a mutt. It has big bone and chubbby body. I estimated the weight at about 3 kilos, cuz I used to carry my 4-months old Tiger who is merely 1 kilo. Wow, that's the different between small and large breed.

I didn't bring along Tiger this round. I just wonder how will Tiger act when "he" meet up this big puppy. My nephew hasn't give it a name yet. I "sms" him suggested to call it Rocky. Decision is on him.

Goat's Story

Five years ago, Hubby and I were still courting. :) It was a Goat's year in Lunar calendar. He invited me to his house in SP to celebrate CNY with his family. It was fun to go to relatives house cuz we were able to collect as many "red packets" as possible. :P

In the evening we went for a walk at the residential area. Suddenly, we heard a goat crying desolately not far away. We searched around to find out what's happening. It sounded so pathetic. Finally, we discovered a young goat. It was entrapped in a deep drain and was yelling for help. We wondered how to safe this little goat. We tried to pull its ear, its head but was not successful. In the end hubby had to sacrifice himself to go down to the drain and carried the little goat from there. :) He's so brave hor? And, the little goat ran away happily. We were happy too, as we managed to safe the goat. :)

Now, whenever I see a group of goat munching green leaves around that area, I will recall that incident.

Our "2-Days" Pet

On last Friday, I was on 2nd half due to company shutdown for annual dinner. Hubby and I went to my parents place for lunch. When we reached there, we saw this. A female dog was nursing her 3 little puppies. I can't stopped myself but to go near to capture a photo. I was attracted by the little puppies. They are so cute! All of them lying side by side sucking their mummy's milk. According to my parents, these 3 babies were born during Raya. They hide in the hole connected to the drain. Pity to them especially during those raining days. Sob, sob.

I talked to hubby if he agreed to adopt one of the mini puppy. He nodded with no objection. After the mummy dog moved away to rest under a car, hubby managed to grab one of the puppy and brought it back to my parents house. We played with the puppy. Mum passed to me a shoes box to hold the puppy back to my home. The puppy cried for its mummy through out the process, and the mummy dog came and searched for her baby. We got into our car as fast as we can, and drove off. Pity the puppy, it cried non stop until it fell a sleep.

See our pet, Mimi? Oh yea, it's a female. We let her rest in a basket.

I was a bit skeptical when comes to taking care of a puppy. Isn't she cute? Look at her plump body? I can't control myself to keep touching it, "loading" my love to her.

She asleeps most of the time.

Our immediate task was to wash her thoroughly as she was living in the drain for some time now. I boiled some hot water and my hubby washed her with some warm water and body shampoo. After that, we brought her back to my FIL house in SP for our weekly visit.

We bought a bottle of puppy milk together with a milk bottle to feed her. At first she sucked and munched for the milk but after a few tries she stopped and start whining again. I guess she wants her mummy's milk. Then, she got tired and fell asleep again.

At night, when we were about to sleep, she suddenly sat up and gave a little cry. We thought maybe she wants to get out from her basket so we took her up and put her on the floor. Then, we realize she wants to pee! She didn't want to soil her bed that's why making noise to get out of her basket.

Afterwards, we all went to sleep...until 4am in the morning, she suddenly cries again. Pee again? Yes, we were right, she wants to pee, that's why waking us up.

The next morning, we tried feeding her milk again but she doesn't want...I even force her to drink but the stubborn puppy just don't want "fake" milk. She wants her mummy's!

We also realized she starts shedding hair, and a bit unnatural too as the shedding was quite a lot. Hubby thought that probably is because of the washing we did to her previously, and maybe she is too young feed using bottles....

The next day, we came back to Penang and went to my parent's place after our weekly marketing. We brought her there too. When we reached my parent's house the little puppy started yapping, and the mother dog, which was around the corner, rushed to the gate and started barking and banging on the gate, wanting to get her baby back! And the mummy dog is accompanied by a few male dogs and they also started to bang on the gate too.

So we thought maybe we should let the Mimi to her mum as she doesn't want to drink anything other than her mummy's milk. Slowly we let her out of the gate and immediately she cried and looked for her mum's nipples. The mummy dog laid down and Mimi sucks ferociously like there is no tomorrow. She must be so hungry after all these while.

Today, when I went to my mum's place for lunch, my mum said all the 3 puppies were taken by an Indian couple, followed by the mummy dog. Hmmmm....there goes my little Mimi~ I miss her now. I thought I could still see her by the roadside but she is gone now...I hope she will grow up well together with her siblings.

Naughty Cat Again...

See...Hubby complaints about the cat. The naughty cat again... Never ending story. Now a days it even dare to come and discover the new "play ground" in our living room. What la!

Sometimes, I realize I treat the cat too good. See, it enjoys the steamed fish fillet from me. Bear in mind, the fish is not our left over dish. I specially steam the whole piece of fillet just for it. We left the fish fillet in the fridge for too long, so it is not so fresh. I decided to "donate" the fillet for the cat. I stole a photo from it while it's still enjoying the fishy meal. :P Pity the cat seldom got chance to taste fish. Our neighbour at the back used to feed the cat left over rice only.

This cat is very pitiful. Its life is full of dashed hopes. Even when its papa cat and mama cat pay a visit, they just want to bully it, shout at it, chase over it and grab away its food. Sometimes it get frightened till pee and "lao sai" at the back of our house. So, in the end, hubby got to wash the floor. :(

I don't mind to offer some food to the cat, I just wish it won't enter our house and dirty our place. But where to find such disciplined stray cat? Hmm......

Secret Talk

Cats meow when they want to interact with human. They also meow in different way when they talk to their cat friends. Watch this, and you'll understand what I meant. Just like you and me, cats can talk, but in their own cat language.

Oh yes, I realized something recently. I noticed that now a days, one female cat changed her strategy. She hides her little kitten on our roof. Let's see the photos, and you'll believe me.

See, it's so relaxing. Staying at the roof top most of the time. Occationally the cat mother come to inspect her kitten and perhaps bring some food...

This little kitten will never run away even we approach it, or we "shu" at it. It's still acting like nobody's business. Really beh tahan. Argh.............. It's living in its own cat world.

Characteristics Of Dugong

See the Dugong picture? It's cute, isn't it? It's drawn by my artistic colleague in the class this afternoon. :)

In today's training course on Dynamic Leadership Program, we learned about dugong's characteristics. Dugong or what we call as Sea Cow is an extint mammal. It was a tame animal and huge in size. We were asked to link Dugong's characters with Human's characters. Ok, let's see ya...

I'm quite disappointed that our trainer did not feed us with much input, so I have to think and process the lesson learned from the above table. This is how I interpret it in my own ways...

In order to travel to our new destination, we have to adapt to changes, rather than staying in our comfort zone. We have to be patient, and paying effort consistently. We shall be approachable, so that we are open to other's opinions and thoughts. Digest those positive points and factors which will assist us so that we can sail smoothly along our life journey to be an outstanding individual.

Is this acceptable?

*P/S: hubby's intepretation is that if we have all those characteristics like the dugong, it will lead us to extinction. :P

Longed for a puppy~

My dear and I recently had a thought of getting a puppy for companionship and some fun...but we were a bit worried about the doggy smell and the shedding.

We would like to have a pup staying indoors, so we are looking into toy dog category. We searched through the web and short list a few breeds that we think is suitable...

First is the Australian Silky Terrier...Friendly, happy, alert, great family pet. Always happy to be with their family, and travels well. Very intelligent, will keep an eye open for trouble, but will not become aggressive and noisy.

Second is toy poodle...Toy Poodles are entertaining little animals. They will play ball and love to fetch. Play time is very important, but you must be sure that they get plenty of rest following long play periods and fresh water available at all times. Poodle is one of the easiest to train, and they learn very quickly where to relieve themselves.

Chihuahua...the only short hair dog of the bunch here, however, they do not fear anything, and tends to a bit noisy. They think they are the master of the universe!

And finally Maltese...another fearless pup. Many Maltese seem relatively indifferent to creatures/objects larger than themselves, which makes them very easy to socialize with other dogs, and even cats. That's the last thing we want to have in our house....dog playing with cats! *fainted

So what do you think is the best pup? Any other recommendations?

Stray Cats Go Wild

Miao~~miao~~, these are the sounds of the beasts terorrizing our neighborhood recently. They come in a variety of colors......white, black, grey, orange, and a mixture of all the colors. Worst of all, they seemed to like our house so much it has become their resting, hunting and feeding place! And we didn't invite them! Even when we shoo them they just staring straight at us, thinking that we are some funny joker who doesn't have anything better to do.

Once while I was sleeping at night I suddenly caught sight of a cat sneaking into our bedroom while another cat keep watch at the window! Too much liao! They are like mission impossible spy cats trying to infiltrate our house, maybe trying to steal something to eat. Once there is an incident of missing fragrant meat on our dining table, thanks to the stealthy white cat.

Then, there is another black+white cat love terrorize the back of our house. Every time when we go to the kithen and turn on tap water, we can catch a glimpse of the cat quietly move away from our house. Arrrgghhhh...they are just too many of them and we seriously need to call pest control.

Naughty orange stripe kitten, very playful, running around, dodging here and there...

Pure orange fat cat lazing around...

Grey stripe sleepy cat on our car!

Carcass of a pigeon can be found on our porch!

Yuck! intestines of the pigeon being left there for us to clean up, we almost throw up at the sight of it.

We are planning to buy a water cannon to blast of these vermins back to their filthy holes...and you bet we will!

How to cope with the stray cats...

I mentioned about the vile cat which steal my fragrant fried meat. Aha! Now I got an idea how to cope with this cat, or even those other stray cats...
Let's watch this video,

and this...

Yes, you are right! Keep a dog as a pet and it will help to settle the cat(s).
