Honey Pepper Roast Chicken Drumstick

The drumsticks are coated with honey and roasted to perfection. It's really a yummy and appetizing entree that we savored for our dinner in Kim Tavern.

Penang Butterfly Farm Part 1

Yesterday Hubby and I brought my parents to Penang Butterfly Farm. It took us almost an hour to reach there as we live on the direct opposite side of the island :P Penang Butterfly Farm is the first tropical farm in the world since the 80's, so it is really an old place. I haven't been here for very long time and it's good to pay a visit now.

Photo of the Day - Penang Bridge Night

Nowadays it's harder to find a good spot to take the photo of our Penang bridge. With The Light project in progress, you couldn't find a decent spot for a simple photo session. Hubby found a place near Penang marine police to take this photo....enjoy!

Kea Farm @ Cameron Highlands

One of the must-go place in Cameron Highlands - Kea Farm. It's located 2km north of Brinchang town, near Equitorial Hotel. Here you can find fruits, vegetables, flowers and even souvenirs. My purpose of visiting Cameron Highlands this time is of course -------Strawberries :P Yup, very cheap. 5 boxes for RM10. Each boxes consist of 12 pieces of strawberries. Definitely a steal!

Flowers @ Cameron Bharat Tea House

Yup, we went for a quick tour last Saturday. I heard that it is now the strawberry season in Cameron so I nagged hubby to bring me there :) We went to Cameron via Simpang Pulai exit as it is the most convenient route. Our first stop was Cameron Bharat tea house. Hubby couldn't resist to take a few snapshots of the flowers in the tea plantation..

Botanical Garden Series pt. 2 - White Flowers

What is Botanical Garden if there is no flowers? Hence today we post some photos of a type of flower found in the garden.

As we stroll along the path into the well maintained garden, we saw these little white flowers dotting among the greens...really eye catching. We couldn't resist to take a few lovely photos of them...

Botanical Garden Series pt 1- Mini Waterfall

Yesterday, after completing all the chores at home, we decided to go somewhere to take nice photos :P Initally we planned to go Batu Ferringhi or Butterfly Farm but it was already 4pm and the weather looks like going to rain anytime soon. Luckily it didn't rain but we detoured to Botanical Garden instead.
It was such a nice weather (no bright and harsh sunlight) and we managed to capture some photos to share over here :)

There is a mini waterfall in Botanical Garden and we found a nice and cozy spot to capture this photo. Noticed the unsightly branches that stuck in the middle? Well, we thought of removing it permanently from this beautiful sight but it was quite steep and we wouldn't want to destroy any public property, right? :P

Photo of the Day - Little Kitten

Found this little kitten near Sungai Batu seaside. It didn't move an inch when I held my camera inches away from its face. The kitten probably too scared to move or confused with the reflection on my camera's lens filter.

LX3 goes to Penang Hill

Last Sunday, we decided to bring our new Panasonic Lumix LX3 to greater heights :P....technically speaking 735 metres above sea level, to our beloved Penang Hill. So our gutsy little gadget was tucked away securely in my backpack... until we met a bunch of tourists with military grade gadget ranging from Canon 40D to Nikon D90. Those big brothers make our puny little camera look like a Chihuahua against a Rottweiler!

However, being a Chihuahua, it couldn't contain its excitement and stay in the backpack for long. When we reaches the hill top, it sprung out from its containment and started shooting photos.
