A Successful Child Adoption

Anis, an adorable girl who is adopted by my Muslim assistant and her husband. I blog about her in my old blog when she was 2 months old. Unfortunately, her photos were missing when my old blog was transfered from other blog hoster. Nevermind, I got her latest photos here. She is now 1 and a half years old.

Anis is cute and charming little girl. Her mom brought her to visit me the other day. She played with me and let me holding her without resistance. I'm happy seeing her finding a home, and I'm glad to know that my assistant and her husband treat her like their own child. They are a happy family. This is a real successful child adoption story.

Little Inbox, just a 5 cents point of view from me.... if you're young, and less than 30 or even mid 30s, I think you should not give up hope and try again. Don't think about what had happened to you. But instead look forward. Adopting would only be considered when you're above 40s. Which I am approaching now. I should be more pressure than you do. Whatever it is, or it takes... take it easy and take one at a time.
I know you know what I mean... we are all here in this little comfort corner to give each other encouragement.
You take care!!

Hi new kid, I'll be 30 y.o. soon. I know I should not giving myself so much pressure cuz it will affect our fertility indirectly.

Luckily we found each other, to give each other encouragement. If not, I'll feel more difficult. You can continue dropping me emails, if you wish too.

Thanks for sharing your opinion here. In fact, nobody is willing to be the middleman for my child adoption cuz all of them think I should continue trying. They think that it's not fair to the adopted child if I got my own child later.

I think your friends have a heart of gold for their willingness to bring up the child as if she was their own flesh and blood. I feel so touched by their selfless act. :)

Liang Mui, yes, you are right! But once adopted, we must treat the child as our own flesh and blood. No regret no matter anything happen in future.
